Menlo Park: How zoning changes could affect traffic, water

An environmental impact report says that if the proposed zoning changes are made, the city's M-2 area – located east of U.S. 101 – could get more housing and more traffic, all while edging closer to maxing out the city's water allocation.

OK… Is anyone else tired of pattern "modeling"? Traffic, aircraft noise, whatever… It never exposes the eventual reality. It's just a bunch of algebra that consultants use to justify their (exorbitant) paychecks. X+Y always < than the real impacts to real people's lives.
