UC Berkeley plans to build $2 billion research center at NASA’s Moffett Field

As part of a joint venture with the University of California at Berkeley and real estate developer SKS Partners, NASA is preparing to launch a $2 billion research center at Moffett Field, according to an announcement Monday.

Perhaps this $2 B would be better spent building the Center (& its jobs & housing) outside the already overpopulated Peninsula!

It could be a great focus for another community.
