San Mateo County DA warns of roofing scam targeting elderly residents

Authorities are warning homeowners of a roof inspection scam that has recently victimized elderly residents around the Bay Area.

You left out an important piece od info from the DA's office.
San Mateo County District Attorney’s Office said that men who “sound and appear of Irish descent” were riding in vehicles marked with fake roofing-service decals.
