I love it that the plucky little Girl Scouts rolled right over the pesky bikers and town staff. Direct democracy in action, and voilà, a solution was found!

Ultimately this is a bigger issue that just busses. I have hiked in Huddart for 30 years, but I no longer feel safe driving KMR. It's just too narrow in spots. The county (or state?) needs to take on the process of making KMR safe for bicyclists, busses and old ladies. In the meantime, I'm so glad a solution was found and proud to the girl scouts to took a stand! Yea! GSA for teaching young women to be self-advocates!!!

Kings Mountian needs to be closed to bicyclists It's absurd to think it is safe to bike up or down that road in traffic.
