Cancelation. It's no vacation.
As an alum, not a big fan of his leadership of Stanford…but, then again, I would not find any person capable of getting the job in this era to be aligned with my thoughts and values.
Yet this seems like a very heavy-handed response to a conclusion that he committed no actual misconduct.
University of Michigan fired their president a year or two ago in a very vicious way (published his personal e-mails) for having some sort of consensual extramarital relationship with a staff member.
Let's face it…these positions require "virtue signaling" to the highest degree imaginable.
Is anyone who is actually qualified to lead such an organization that type of saint?
