Guest opinion: San Mateo County should reverse course, keep youth sports fields in upcoming Flood Park plans

San Mateo County supervisors voted to delay their promise to area youth. Their decision to suddenly remove the promised baseball and youth sports fields at Flood Park from being constructed this year is a tragedy for area youth.

This is an important and timely article, lacking only the vital information, like email addresses or links to contact county supervisors. Asking us to help without providing a convenient means is a big loss.

IMPORTANT Thursday April 6, 4pm there will be a Flood Park Phase 1 presentation by the Parks Department:

For those wanting to restore the Baseball field and the new Multi-use field back in to Phase 1, this may be an important meeting. You may also email the Parks Commission: parksandrecreation@smcgov.org
