La Baguette settles federal lawsuit for $430K in fraudulent PPP claims

A Palo Alto bakery has settled a lawsuit with the federal government for making false claims to acquire $430,000 through a program designed to help struggling businesses during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Proper penalty for these cheats should be return all covid loans even the legit ones plus a penalty equal to the false ones. And forbidden from receiving any SB loans for 10 years. A year or two of jail time for each $100k of false loan wouldn't hurt.
