New 163-room hotel coming to Menlo Park's Bayfront neighborhood

The Menlo Park Planning Commission voted on Nov. 14 to approve a 163-room hotel on a bite-sized property near the bay, despite a mixed reaction from commissioners worried about limited public outreach.

No mention is made of the amount of Transient Occupancy Tax (TOT) the proposed hotel would generate for the city. I wonder why?

When I travel, I am assessed Transient Occupancy Taxes by other jurisdictions, cities and states, so I support recouping that for Menlo Park.
