Plan for lifting mask mandate announced by Bay Area health officers

The counties of Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Napa, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Sonoma and the City of Berkeley plan to lift the indoor masking requirement in public spaces when a series of criteria are met, they announced.

Much of the indoor masking policy feels like “Corona Theater” to me — especially in restaurants where you wear your mask for the 10 seconds it takes to move from the front door until you reach your table. I’ll be glad when the mask requirement is dropped for good and we can move on from the fear and craziness.
