Thanks for an informative article on our water supply, which indicates that we generally have very little local storage/supply capability, ranging from zero to 4 days depending on the district. Implications include how quickly we and our fire departments would run out of water in the event of a major earthquake that damages our supply line(s). “There is... no single Northern California or Southern California when it comes to water.
