Californians 50 and older eligible for vaccinations on April 1

Gov. Gavin Newsom announced Thursday that all Californians 50 and older will be eligible to be vaccinated on April 1, while everyone 16 and older will qualify two weeks later.

How about fixing the supply problem in our area first? People who are already eligible are being forced to travel to Fairfield, Modesto, and Sacramento to get the vaccine -- and have been ever since supply dried up three weeks ago. Now we'll have more people chasing nonexistent doses.
