San Mateo County officials say 1 in 4 residents has gotten first dose of COVID-19 vaccine

As of March 2, 159,357 San Mateo County residents have received at least the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, representing 24.8% of the county's population age 16 and older who would be eligible for the vaccine.

Almanac, I think you need to rewrite your headline. “San Mateo county officials say 1 in 4 residents has gotten the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine,” is very different from the first paragraph: “As of March 2, 159,357 San Mateo county residents have received at least the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, representing 24.8% of the county's population age 16 and older WHO WOULD BE ELIGIBLE FOR THE VACCINE.”
