The OEA proposal that they continue with remote education, even though the data shows in person is safe with precautions, AND that they are next in line for the vaccine is unacceptable. Those vaccines could be better utilized if the teachers won’t agree to return when we are in Red.
Beyond that, the disservice to our kids by arguing to return only when cases are near zero is so astonishing. It makes you think twice of trusting your kids with them. Give the vaccines to someone else, alameda county.
