Menlo Park: Council creates program to help struggling restaurants offer outdoor dining

For some Menlo Park restaurants that lacked outdoor eating areas when the pandemic struck, help may be on the way.

I applaud the City Council for starting this program. Since many restaurants will need to spend much more that $10k to build new outdoor dining facilities that are both functional and attractive, our city should guarantee the investments will be worthwhile for at least 3 to 5 years.
