Citing spike in coronavirus cases, Ravenswood to start school year with full distance learning

The Ravenswood City school board backed on Thursday a plan to open schools in August remotely, with the hopes of shifting to a hybrid model later in the fall if public health conditions improve.

This is a very difficult situation, so I am in no place to criticize this decision; there are no good choices. However, I will bring up one concern not touched upon in depth in this article - that Ravenswood School District has one of the highest rates of student homelessness in the Bay Area - at least, as of 1 1/2 years ago.
