Guest opinion: It's time to listen

In an op-ed, Menlo-Atherton High student Daniel Paul Roman, who helped organize a Black Lives Matter protest in Menlo Park on June 1, writes about why he felt compelled to do something in the wake of George Floyd's killing.

Well said. I totally agree with you. It's (way past) time for us white folks to get involved. My thanks to you young people for coming forward. I hope George Floyd didn't die in vain.

Daniel, As I told you before, so proud of you and all that you did here. You demonstrated great strength, courage, Resolve, and maturity. All traits great leaders possess. Keep moving forward and others will follow.

Nice work. What a leader you are!
Trump is doing the best job he can considering the length of time racism has existed. Even obama couldn't fix and everyone thought he was going to be the man to do so. Blame is on all and we should do better.
