Menlo Park reopens Bedwell Bayfront Park with distancing restrictions

Bedwell Bayfront Park in Menlo Park reopened at 7 a.m. Saturday, city officials announced, but with limits on the number of people allowed and with park monitors stationed to determine compliance with social distancing.

Thank you for re-opening this park.
To everyone- Please, please, please don't ruin this wonderful opportunity, follow all guidelines about social distancing and parking so that we all may continue to use this easily accessible walking area.

Thank you for the reopening the park.

I have visited earlier today and spent 45min hiking. It should be noted that parking restrictions are too harsh allowing only about 25 cars for a huge open space. I was lucky to use the last available spot. In my 45min of fast hiking I have passed by 4 couples only. I would find it pretty safe if there were no parking restrictions, but an improvement would be to allow 20 more cars to park.
