These are tough times and no tougher than people in businesses that rely on week to week revenue. Home delivery options are doing (relatively) well. I also appreciate restaurants such as Flea Street Cafe offering a broader menu versus something preset. I really enjoyed picking up our last dinner from there where I saw familiar employee faces and it makes me look forward to when the economy opens up again. I particularly liked one customer coming down to get a cocktail (to-go). A lemon-drop never sounded so good!! We will order again this weekend I am getting a Manhattan!!!

We are very grateful to those who are still open, especially our neighborhood favorites Naomi Sushi and Bistro Vida in Menlo Park. I feel way safer doing a 1-minute pickup from a trusted restaurant than trying to gather equivalent amount of ingredients in decimated grocery stores. I understand it's hard to stay open at this time (and have nothing against those who've gone down that road), which makes my appreciation for those who are serving the community now even stronger.
