WHY are gardeners (and the homeowners who employ them) using gas powered blowers in our neighborhoods. Menlo and Vintage Oaks, Felton Gables, and other parts of our community have gardeners still out blowing bare dirt, debris, and possible virus into the streets, over neighbors' fences, at people walking by during the Shelter In. They are ignoring the sheltering in order.

A spotless yard is not an essential service. And BLOWERS! are actually a huge health danger. Shame on people still allowing this to go on in their yards and selfishly not thinking of their neighbors, the elderly, asthmatics, children, and all who are vulnerable to the Corona Virus!

Also, shame on 211, the San Mateo County Sheriff's Office, and our elected officials who keep passing the buck on this issue and doing nothing. (I called 211, CDPH, San Mateo County Board of Supervisors, San Mateo Sheriff's office, only to be referred back to 211, who does not even answer but leaves you on hold for 15 minutes.
