Senate candidates clash over housing policies, PG&E's future at forum

The seven candidates vying to succeed state Sen. Jerry Hill in Sacramento clashed on Wednesday over housing policies, charter schools and a new proposal to have the state take over PG&E at a forum in Palo Alto.

Shelly Masur is on record as supporting SB50 taking away local control from cities and allowing the state to control how much density can be built in transportation corridors.

Jerry Hill voted against SB50.

Masur would have voted for it.

Due to her support of SB50 I predict that Masur will end up in the bottom 3 of candidates on election day. I think the only question in my mind is if she will get more or less votes than John Webster.

John Webster? The guy who wants to do away with laws dealing with child pornography?

There's a reason he has problems with government. And they're not good reasons.
