I completely agree that Selby's is quite entertaining but I would not go for dinner again. A regular martini is not chilled when you are dining. It arrives in a mini carafe placed in a bowl of ice. Just incorrectly done.

The food is pretty but not noteworthy. The "gazpacho" was tomato water warmed and served over tiny bits of tomato and cucumber. Embarrassing.

The main course appeared to be chicken pot pie served in a "round croissant" (which can be found frozen at any grocery store).

We tried Shelby's once and found the noise levels so high that we could not carry on a conversation. And we waited 15 minutes after being seated before the first waiter even approached our table.

We were clearly spoiled by our many years of dining at Chantilly and sadly we will not return to Selby's again.
