Empty Amazon boxes addressed to Menlo Park residents found in San Jose

Dozens of empty Amazon shipping boxes, many of which were addressed to Menlo Park residents, have been found in a creek in East San Jose, according to San Jose Police Department spokeswoman Gina Tepoorten.

I have been contacting Amazon directly whenever a package is missing and they take care of it for me. Should I call the police, too?

As a resident of North Fair Oaks, I have to say that it would be excellent if a Menlo Park City employee would refer reporters to the San Mateo County Sheriff's Department for comment. There has been a HUGE uptick in packages stolen from porches in our area since before Thanksgiving. Our address is Menlo Park, too, as are many in the nearby unincorporated areas! Could help solve the case ......
