"Ballerina's Tale" documentary film about African-American prima ballerina Misty Copeland: this Wed. Sept. 18 1pm

This engaging documentary will screen at Menlo Park's Little House Senior/Activity Center theater, just down the hall from the Cafe (800 Middle Ave. phone 650-326-0665) as part of the "Cinema, Conversation and Coffee" series. The film chronicles prima ballerina Misty Copeland's long and dramatic ascent to stardom. This intimate documentary examines the African-American dancer's unique impact on the rarified world of classical ballet. This one will be a “feel good” film! Films are shown in the Little House Theater, just down the hall from the Cafe. Sweet snacks are served. View the trailer at Web Link
