Appeals court says class action lawsuit against Facebook can proceed

A federal appeals court in San Francisco ruled on Thursday (Aug. 8) that Facebook users in Illinois can proceed with a class action lawsuit challenging the social media company's use of facial recognition technology.

I hope the class-action settlement with Facebook is for more than the Trump administration's fake $125 per person settlement with Equifax.
