Local control is killing us. Do away with the lot of it. We need solutions like SB50 yesterday!

Anyone who is against the appalling SB50 will get my vote.

SB50 is a disaster. If SB50 passes then what is the purpose of having local government? The Bay Area is the third most congested area in the United States. Companies should be setting up satellite campuses in other parts of the state so people can afford to live there and not continue to build here.

Building housing without the attendant infrastructure is a fool's errand. We need schools, police, fire, water, gas and extra gas lines, electricity and more electrical substations, more roads, more public transit, more grocers, banks, drug stores, etc.

The problem is the Bay area is close to saturation level as it stands now. There just isn't that much more room. You want to build more housing then you better have enough room to build the support infrastructure.

"Companies should be setting up..."

That's not a plan, that's wishful thinking. How would you incentivize that?

Would you vote for someone who "hoped" without a plan?
