Longtime Oak Knoll teacher enters her 'next phase'

After more than three decades of teaching -- with nearly 24 years spent in Menlo Park -- Oak Knoll School teacher Renee Lavezzo is retiring.

Congratulations on your retirement, Renee, and thanks for giving our son such a terrific experience in first grade. He’s in college now, and you got him off on the right foot!

My boys remember their amazing first grade SF experience with you and Miss Clancy. You have been an inspiration for many years, and are often in my thoughts...even though my boys are now 23! Good luck in your next phase and best wishes for many years of traveling and outdoor activities with your husband. Thank you for being such a wonderful part of Oak Knoll for so many years. xoko
