Menlo Park: Motorcyclist taken to hospital after collision

A 24-year-old motorcyclist was taken to the hospital in an ambulance after he collided with a car at the corner of Ringwood and Coleman avenues in Menlo Park at 6:54 a.m. on Friday, June 7.

I drove by as they were cleaning up the aftermath. It was hard to tell because the motorcycle was pretty damaged but from the damage to the back of the seat it looked like the bike might have been rear ended. Hope the rider is OK.

I was at the scene shortly after it happened and prior to first responders arriving. Motorcyclist was prone on ground, unmoving, in front of stop sign. Gray sedan was behind him, motorcycle under the car. It looked horrific.
