Portola Valley may update its 1964-vintage general plan

Portola Valley is considering an update to its current general plan, which was adopted in 1964. The plan would take a long-term perspective into the future and would be a road map for future development.

When we saw studies that show residents with guns in their home are 11 times more likely to harm someone in the home than to use it in self-defense.

Public safety means don't keep guns around.

When did you get in the "unsafe gun storage" business?

A cool, unemotional review would show the "Safe Storage of Firearms" is a good idea. Only a fringe gun nut would be against safe storage. Where do you fall on public safety?
