I believe the ride-hailing counts reported by Facebook and reviewed by the MP City Council do not correctly account for the FB employees who walk off campus to the Starbucks/Jack-in-the-Box parking lot at the intersection of Willow and Hamilton to be picked up by Lyft/Uber drivers during the evening rush hour(s). I routinely see FB employees (recognizable by the FB badges they are still wearing) being picked up by ride-hailing drivers there.

This can be fixed by having employees be allowed to work from home at least one day per week.
In this day and age of connectivity, to demand butts in chairs is pathetic.

A corporation violating it's agreement in the intent, if not the letter of the deal.
Color me shocked. Someone needs to put on his(her) big boy pants...

Dagwood is a registered user.
These fines, like the discussed potential $5B FTC fine, mean nothing to Facebook. It's a cost of doing business, including a little embarrassment at Planning Commission meetings. All at FB learned from Mark Zuckerberg to act first, then apologize later.

@Let them work from home
This is highly dependent on your team and manager, but from what I've heard, Facebook has a very open "Work from Home" culture and many employees do WfH at least once a week.
