Saturday: Ribbon-cutting for restrooms at Jack W. Lyle Park

A ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new public restrooms at Jack W. Lyle Park, located at 640 Fremont St. in Menlo Park, will start at 9 a.m. on Saturday, March 2.

$500,000 for potties. Your tax dollars being flushed down the toilet.

Is that for both restroom projects, as the budget was 240K each for Jack Lyle and Willow Oaks?

I certainly hope so, as if that project goes 100% over budget, that would certainly warrant a closer look at the awarded contracts.

That is by even the most generous standards not a 500K project.
