Planned county worker strike suspended pending agreement

A strike planned this week by San Mateo County employees has been averted by a tentative agreement between the county and the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees union.

I protest the unfair pensions these county workers receive. AFSCME should offer up pension reform in exchange for more current pay.
