A fine gentleman and an asset to his community; Bill will be sorely missed by many of us.

Bill Awbrey was a wonderful gentleman that I had the pleasure to know for the past 18 years. I will miss his levity the most. I will always be appreciative to him for his service to the country as a naval aviator. Little known fact - Bill could really hit a tennis ball in his day, and enjoyed playing with this group of friends at the Atherton Tennis Facility. Godspeed my friend and my sincerest condolences to Stuart and the family.

I knew Bill for many years. He was a wonderful person, a hard worker and impacted the town in many positive ways. His health declined and I haven't seen him for several years.
My sympathies to his wife Stuart and family.
He was a person who cared about Atherton and our quality of life.
May there be more Bills in this world.
