Recently digitized city photographs illuminate a Menlo Park of yesteryear

"It started, honestly, as office clean up," said Thomas Rogers, principal planner at the city of Menlo Park. He was speaking of the discovery of boxes containing hundreds of old photographs of Menlo Park over the years, many dating as far back as the 1960s, some of which have been digitalized and are now accessible to the public.

Hopefully, these photos and slides should be given to the Menlo Park Historical Association. Digital is nice, but physical items may well last longer.
