Cat rescued in Menlo Park up for adoption

The Peninsula Humane Society & SPCA is seeking an owner for a cat that improbably survived ingesting rat poison and was rescued at a workplace in Menlo Park in October.

The Peninsula Humane Society & SPCA are charging an $80 adoption fee?!? You would think they would let someone caring and kind enough to give this cat a loving home, have her for free!!!

PHS has had provided medical care for Millie besides spaying, vaccinating, and microchipping her and that was all expensive. Still, because she is known to have ongoing health issues, I agree that there should probably be some sort of discount or waive the fee for a voluntary donation.
