New agency is bringing renewable energy to county

The article captures the excitement of the Wright Solar Project groundbreaking as well as the potential benefits for our residents and businesses of having a new source of renewable power available through Peninsula Clean Energy.

Although the final PG&E fees mentioned in the story have not yet been finalized by the state Public Utilities Commission, Peninsula Clean Energy is committed to rates 5 percent lower than PG&E and will adjust our 2019 rates as needed to continue to save money for all of our customers. PCE is committed to providing cleaner energy at lower rates than PG&E throughout San Mateo County.
