Conditions in Midpeninsula hills ripe for wildfire

Palo Alto and the Bay Area are at great risk for a large fire similar to the Camp Fire in Butte County, a California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection spokesman said.

So apparently Portola Valley isn’t new in any danger of fire as it wasn’t mentioned. Great reporting there!

It’s not just PV! Make a list of all midpeninsula communities not mentioned in this article. If the Almanac doesn’t remind people that those communties exist, they will just be left to burn in cae of a fire.
