Tonight: Fire district to discuss new training facility

A new practice facility to simulate emergencies for firefighters of the Menlo Park Fire Protection District is a topic of discussion at the district's governing board meeting tonight, Tuesday, Oct. 16.

Wouldn't it make sense or the FD to build one that could be shared by other agencies in cost, etc. instead of having to do it alone and bear all the cost?

The county fire agencies already operate together; wouldn't it make sense to train together too?

Bob - Great idea. It has been pursued and no one else is able to contribute a penny to this project.
