Election 2018: Four candidates, three seats for Menlo Park fire board

Four candidates are running for three four-year terms on the board of directors of the Menlo Park Fire Protection District, which covers Menlo Park, East Palo Alto, Atherton and nearby unincorporated areas of San Mateo County.

The three candidates who would best serve the residents of the District are Ballard, McLaughlin and Jones.

I usually don’t agree with Mr. Carpenter, but his choices make sense. It’s a good thing when an endorsement comes from a fellow board member. What has Carpenter observed in the last 4 years with Mr. Bernstein. They ran together 4 years ago, all three got elected, what has changed Mr. Carpenters mind?

Anyone that has had experience with Mr. Bernstein completely understands.

A no vote for BERNSTEIN is a good decision.
