Caltrain ridership up this year from 2017

Caltrain ridership has jumped slightly this year compared to 2017, when ridership decreased, Caltrain officials said.

Sure seems a lot more crowded than 1.5%!!!!

1.5% is year-over-year growth. Caltrain has been standing-room-only during rush hour for several years in a row now.

Seems more likely to be an artifact of the changed method of measurement.

However, I support any hijinx in that regard because public transportation could use all the funding it can get (by any means necessary).
