Original post made on Sep 5, 2018

Even though autonomous vehicles can potentially increase roadway capacity there will still be more vehicles on the roads. I guess I don't see the difference. Our clogged streets will be clogged with autonomous vehicles & regular vehicles if all that development takes place.

Triple the development, triple the traffic. Stanford needs to replace all of its stop signs with roundabouts (as it has already begun), pay to build roundabouts where it borders Palo Alto and Menlo Park, widen its roads, build more parking structures, and install solar panels to charge electric vehicles during the day. Uber and Lyft will decrease parking needs but will increase traffic as they cruise the campus roads or nearby city streets awaiting calls for fares.

Cool info! Just not sure how this entials tripling density when they would only be tripling their size

Lagunitas is perfect for a four-story parking structure. It's close to Alpine Road and the lake has been dry for years.
