The Portola Valley School District's enrollment is falling?????? Is that why the School Board wants to put a rebuild of both schools at a starting price of $49.5 million on the ballot in November? When local residents haven't finished paying for the last sets of bond measures? (For those away during the summer months, it was in the Almanac: Web Link

I love the phrase "Makerspace Coach." What is the actual job description? If you fill a room with lots of different types of materials, kids will figure out great ways to use them if you just let them do it on their own. It was always much more fun making stuff then being handed already made stuff, or being told or taught what to make. Let the kids do things on their own for a change.
