A bucket list. Too ornery. My oh my, this is a pathetic start to a campaign. Can Menlo Park do better than this? Where are the big thinkers? The city needs leaders with a vision for the future, not someone who is checking off an old dream. Our council has dumped tons of office developmeyon us. We need solutions to the traffic and threat to our neighborhoods. Does this fellow understand that our infrastructure is in terrible shape. This is not the candidate we need at this time . Good Grief

In his own words, he won't kowtow to special interests because he's too ornery.

The current council members "get along" with each other and are able to disagree while being professional and respectful. We'll see if voters prefer "ornery" to collaborate.

Dagwood is a registered user.

I’ll be interested in his views about the Middle Ave tunnel , Caltrain overpass options and Downtown parking garage - important District 4 issues. And our ridiculous district voting system. And housing and congestion city-wide. And Facebook as major land developer.

Actually, Ron Shepard is a good choice for council.

I’m chuckling at the “bucket list” comment.

Apparently for some council members a Third Term is a bucket list goal.
As in, I always wanted a third term before I kick the bucket.
