Here's hoping the Woodside community will meet with Assemblymember Berman to express their concerns about the cruel "pig scramble" event to take place at the Woodside Jr. Rodeo on July 4, despite major protests about this abuse in the past.

Note that California Education Code 60042 mandates that "compassion and kindness to animals" be taught in the public schools, K-12. These "scrambles" would seem to be a violation of that mandate. It's likely that many of these kids come from Woodside Elementary School. The principal and teachers there need to hear from concerned parents.
