As a first step, city staff should research and prepare a report on how our Measure T Recreation Bond proceeds were spent - completely for all three tranches.

It would be nice if the parks were about serving the community and not just the kids soccer teams. Just about every late afternoon/ early evening when I walk by the parks, every inch of lawn is taken over by soccer players and there's no field left where anyone can start an impromptu football game, throw a frisbee, or just sit down on the grass and look at the clouds. It's all about soccer. After soccer season is over, a big orange barricade is erected around the park for "restoration" after the soccer players chewed up the field with their cleats. How about leaving about half the park for people who don't play soccer.
