So you can commit fraud, identity theft, and lie --yet still live in your Portola Valley mansion that has appreciated more than 2 million since he committed these crimes. So he has lost nothing and in fact comes out ahead by lying since he still owns the condo's and they have doubled in value as well.

Why is the FBI interfering where the have no right to. This man’s private life and assests are his, should not be scrutinized by banks or other institutions. Many other people have assets tied up in property as well. Don’t see why he is discriminated against.
Regardless, I’m sure his PV home has appreciated considerably. One of the great benefits of living in this town.

In some circles, bank fraud, submitting false statements to a federal court and identity theft are considered serious crimes, not just "This man's private life." The FBI is generally involved in investigating federal crimes, so I don't understand the complaint about them "interfering where they have no right to."
Are we creating an alternate society where this kind of behavior is dismissed as someone's private business, where laws have no jurisdiction? I suppose current political events suggest that this is so.

Menlo Voter. is a registered user.
Dave:
you don't understand. Portola Valley Resident is only concerned about "low life" crimes committed by "outsiders". White collar crimes she has no problem with. Especially when committed by "insiders".
