First think the board needs to do is "Agendize" the termination of the superintendents contract. Then they need to hire an independent review of the nepotism active in the Ravenswood School District. Not just the superintendent hiring her son, husband and other family members but the hiring of the "domestic partner" of Sharifa Wilson, the School Board Vice President and former president who released a child to a stranger and then failed to report it when the mistake was caught.

Every story about Ravenswood just point to what a mess that district is. The Superintendent need to go ASAP, then the residents of that district need to remove the board and start fresh with people who have a vested interest in the students and not putting themselves and their family first. The schools have been so bad for so long that people just seem to accept it as the normal state, it is time to change that. These schools were bad when I was a student there in the 70's, isn't it time to start fixing them by starting at the top and cleaning house?

It is so sad that Gloria and board members have not giving the parents an opportunity to be listened. This is what makes Gloria a bad superintendent. She does not listen to the parents, teachers or community. She is really good a taking the poverty card out to get donations, but she does not know how to use the donations well. She wastes the money or spends it in who now what. Perhaps is in someone's savings account. An investigation should be done to find out where did the money went (8 million dollars plus 5 million dollars Face Book donated, and other donations etc.). Hope her contract does not get renewed.
