Filoli loses one-time resident, longtime leader and volunteer

Lurline Matson Roth Coonan, who lived for a time on the Filoli estate in Woodside and served for more than 40 years as a volunteer, board member or advisory council member, died Friday, April 13, in the company of her family. She was 97.

Wow, a piece of history forever gone. Thanks to Lurline for her lifelong contributions to the SF Bay Area and beyond.

She was a lovely lady with a real eye for color and design. She will be missed.
