I'm pleased to see this project moving forward. Capturing a nugget of the past helps put today into perspective. Life is a continuum where today fits into yesterday that leads us into tomorrow. Kudos to the Menlo Park Historical Association in bringing this project forward and kudos to the Menlo Park City Council in supporting it. Like Redwood City's "Climate Best By Government Test", Menlo Park's icon dating back to 1863 will be a tribute to the days long past.
