An explosive article has just been published in Clem’s blog, detailing the complete failure of the Caltrain CBOSS project.

This project has been beset with numerous well known flaws, which should have signaled its end before wasting so much funding (estimated to be $150 millions of waste --- sure to go much higher than that).
Now seeing that what was to be a $231 million project, completed long ago, and is essentially worthless, we are supposed to have confidence in Caltrain to implement its electrification project, which has doubled in cost over the last 3 years to well over $2 billion dollars.
There is being proposed a $100 million bond initiative Caltrain wants the public to approve for further Caltrain funding on an upcoming ballot.
