Will miss Chip. He was one of the good ones. This is a big loss for MP.

Almost as much turnover at the City of Menlo Park as there is at the White House. It's not just about getting a bigger paycheck. It's time to find a new City Manager instead of losing good City staff.

What did this guy do, exactly? All of the projects he listed are things that other staff members were the lead on- Transportation does traffic mitigation plans, Planning ran the ConnectMenlo process, etc.

That plus the lack of comments here indicate to me that he was basically $211,761 of "meh." Sounds like addition by subtraction!

Chip was a great liaison to the Transportation Commission back in the day. He has always been a top notch employee growing with each new opportunity. I hope some day he will come back to Menlo Park as our City Manager.
